# Robert Weeden > Robert Weeden is a Staff Software Engineer at Vally in Madison, Wisconsin and the inventor of Semantics, a desktop application for exploring knowledge graphs and producing reviewable code changes. He builds full-stack products, agentic applications, and developer tooling, with software experience since July 2021. This is Robert Weeden's personal website. Robert works full-time at Vally and is available for asynchronous contract work alongside that role. He is also open to a full-time move for the right team, with meaningful equity or stock-based compensation in a company he believes in. Startup equity and public-company stock or RSUs can satisfy that requirement. He prefers small, autonomous teams, including teams within larger companies. The company and team matter more than location or industry alone. He considers local Madison and remote opportunities, with relocation considered for an exceptional fit. His strongest interest is space technology and software that helps engineers design, test, and operate physical systems, especially working alongside hardware in a lab. This is a desired direction, not a claim of prior robotics or aerospace software experience. He also takes on selected projects with a defined scope.
